Kempu Chutney - Dosa chutney red!
Kempu chutney which can also be called dosa chutney red is a spicy, flavorful chutney which is used as a spread on dosa or as a tasty side dish with idli or any other dish you like. Dosa chutney red is made with a combination of red chillies, garlic, ginger and lemon juice to balance the taste. It is simple yet delicious, which can be prepared in very less time without any hustle. Also, the ingredients used in this dosa chutney red is easily available in the kitchen, you don’t need any special ingredient for this. Your delicious dosa chutney red can be used with any combination and will make any dish a complete one.
The making of dosa chutney red is very simple. It doesn’t require much of your time and less effort. All you have to do is, first take a pan and add oil in it.
Then, add chana dal in the pan and let it saute till the time it becomes golden brown.
Later, add garlic, ginger and onion. Cook it well till the onion turns translucent.
Next, add whole dried red chilli, turmeric, and salt to taste. Saute it well until the chillies turn/look crispy.
Then let the mixture for dosa chutney red cool for sometime.
Add the mixture into the blender and blend it into a smooth paste by adding water as required.
Take out your delicious dosa chutney red from the blender into the serving bowl and finally add some lemon juice for a tangy taste and your dosa chutney red is all set to be served.
