Veggie Masala Dosa Ingredients:

For Dosa’s Masala Stuffing:

  • 2 chopped carrots
  • 2 chopped capsicums
  • 2 chopped potatoes
  • 1 grated cauliflower
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 chopped chilies
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • A small bowl of green peas
  • Coriander leaves
  • And dosa batter for your dosas

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Preparing the Veggie Dosa Masala:

  • Chop all the vegetables and boil them in water with a pinch of salt.
  • Pour out the oil in a kadhai and let it heat.
  • Put the chopped onions and sauté it for a while.
  • Now, add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies with some salt. Toss them all well.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste. Stir the dosa masala for a while.
  • Next, add all the powders of spices. Mix and fry them all, till you see the oil oozing
    out of the edges of the kadhai.
  • Add the boiled vegetables now and toss the mixture. Let the dosa masala cook for at
    least 5 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the stove and top the mixture with fresh coriander leaves.

Preparing the Crispy Dosas for your veggie dosa masala:

  • Take a large flat pan or Tawa. Heat it for a while on the stove.
  • Pour one ladle of the dosa batter and spread it out in circles on the Tawa. Make sure
    to thin out the layer evenly in a smooth motion.
  • Put some ghee or oil around the edges and let the dosa cook for a few minutes.
  • Now, take two teaspoons of the dosa masala you made and spread it across the
    middle of the dosa.
  • Take a flat spatula, fold the edges of the dosa to cover the filling, and take it out of
    the pan.
  • Serve the mixed vegetable masala dosa hot and fresh with the chutney or dips of
    your choice.
