About the Operational Model 

As our product is different from others, so is our business model. All our fresh products are made for the day they are shipped to retail stores. We have zero finished goods inventory, and hence no intermediary stockiest or transitory warehouses. This is possible only with the help of an inhouse fleet of vehicles and distribution personnel. Currently a fleet of 500 dedicated vehicles and crew touch 25,000 retailers daily and replenish 100,000+ Kgs units of the freshest produce.

Key Responsibilities

An on ground RKAM is essential to service the outlets to help drive MT toplines by constantly enhancing sales force efficiencies and help maintain operational hygiene in Store & Category Presence, Account Receivables, GRN processing and reconciliation of accounts.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Track volume and value objectives of the assigned territory within budgeted limits through efficient control of the network under charge.
  • Responsible for increasing category share and shelf space in the Key Accounts.
  •  Support the MT Head:
  1.  To conduct and conclude timely annual JBPs with Key accounts within the budgets provided.
  2.  To develop and update key account promotional calendar from time to time. Effectively implement agreed promo activities by coordinating with trade marketing and execute via with field sales teams periodically.
  •  Ensure that the account specific customer service objectives are met by coordinating with logistics and sales teams to ensure maintain excellent relationships with appropriate level personnel within key account organization.

 

OPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATION

  •  Identify new and upcoming accounts in the MT marketplace.
  •  Spearhead listing and mapping of all targeted SKUs in MT accounts.

 

REVIEW & CONTROL

  • Accounts Receivables: Ensure Account health w.r.t to payment outstanding, GRNs, debit note, ledgers and periodic account reconciliation.
  • Assess and analyse impact of promotions being run in all key accounts and communicate feedback to Regional Manager, MT head and the trade marketing team.
  • Keep track of profitability for all tagged key accounts.

 

COMPETITION & MARKETPLACE INTELIGENCE

  • Develop strong market intelligence and monitor competitor activities on trade channel related matters and proactively provide feedback to the concerned team.

Key Requirements

Education: Any Graduate with MBA or equivalent is preferable.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years with Previous MT & GT knowledge from the Food & Dairy domain with DSD supply chain experience will be an advantage.
  • A sales and channel orientation with a growth mindset is essential.
