Roles and responsibilities

Supports in the development and leadership of a high performance team that drives sales and achieves profitability through effective training, coaching and motivational activities

Develop and nurture professional networks and relationships with government agencies, industry groups, consultants and the private sector to pursue new leads, opportunities and strategic partnerships

Exposure to regulatory requirements as role would require candidate to oversee the registrations and launch

Identifying and executing new opportunities in international markets that will enhance the
product offerings for iD and deliver incremental revenue and profit

Conduct research to identify new international business development opportunities in
international markets, this is to include identifying new potential partners or acquisitions
overseas

Develop sales plans, strategies and policies with a view to increasing/sustain iD market share and profitability

Have effective implementation and monitoring mechanism to ensure the achievement of the sales plans and strategies

Formulate policies and guidelines for smooth functioning and satisfaction of channel partners like dealers, distributors and stockiest

Scan the environment to understand competitor’s activities, demand-supply scenario, regulatory issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share

Ensure an increased market share and profitability by facilitating market development, brand management and business development. Focus on business development through domestic / export markets (defined geographies) and building the brand of the company in the domestic /exports market

Continuously monitor the pricing patterns within the market, checking the prices for the desired products regularly with respect to their competitiveness and value as perceived by the customers, deciding upon pricing from time to time on a need basis to ensure the products are sold with highest recoveries possible

Initiate market intelligence system to provide monthly information to top Management on potential data, competitors- activities, new product opportunities and other changes in the environment

Evolve policies for establishing a robust field force monitoring and people management, relationship management system in order to increase field force satisfaction and portfolio growth

Managing the complete sales cycle from business development and customer acquisition till transaction closure

With zero finished good inventory, we do not depend on intermediary stockists or transitory warehouses. A fleet of 500 dedicated vehicles & crew reach 25,000 + retailers every day currently, and replenish 100,000+kg units of fresh produce.

Job specifications

Education: MBA or equivalent education

Experience: Minimum 20 years’ experience in sales & business development

Skills:

Computer skill – MS Office, power BI and other analytic software

Communication- English & native regional language

Industry: FMCG/ food production/ processing
